Video game reviews

My reviews focus on iOS software, older PC titles, free downloads or browser games from sites like Kongregate, and other platforms I don’t think get enough attention. Computers are never exactly timeless, but you don’t always need flashy graphics or large levels for enjoyable design.

I also review modern first-person shooters, RPGs, and games with cyberpunk themes. System Shock 2 is my favorite game, and I enjoy worlds of machinery and alienation. They’re like the Internet, except less stupid.

I use a letter grading scale from A to F. A is excellent, C is passable, and D is garbage. I’ve added an S grade for items of exceptional quality, but I don’t expect to use it very often. You can find a deeper explanation of the scale here.
